Original Comment I have a 2015 grand cherokee jeep.<br /> On April 16, 2023 i was driving on the highway and my driver side head rest deployed while I was driving. It almost caused me to collide with another vehicle. It hit my head forward causing me to brace my steering wheel. <br /> Since this happened Sunday evening i called the closest Jeep dealer to me which was jeep of watertown CT. <br /> When I called to speak with the serive department to inquire if there was a recall on my jeep the gentleman put me on hold after i explained what happened to me. He mentioned to me there is active recall for that but would need to look at the vehicle. I explained to him i was never notified of this. He scheduled me for May 4th as he didn'thave any sooner appointments. I explained that is almost 3 weeks out and that i needed my vehicle to get to and from work and that I didn't think it was safe to drive the car that why. <br /> I feel this is unacceptable. This would of seriously hurt me or another person on the highway.
