My son and I were traveling back home from FL. When we were boarding the flight and they had called families traveling with small children and strollers I decided to get in line as I usually board... as I'm with my 3 year old son. When we got to the entrance for them to scan our tickets, I was stopped and told I couldn't board with my son because I was section E and he couldn't bring his small suitcase that he has traveled everywhere with and I need to pay $65 to check it. Inside his small bag that fits perfectly under the seat was all his necessities (toys, blankie, diapers, wipes, etc). The two women at the desk were so rude and treated me so unfairly, I was appalled as I have always had great experiences on the flight. This small suitcase actually fits better under the seat than my own carry on bag. I am also a true blue member and I will say it again am appalled at the way my son and I were treated. Since I was arguing, trying to let them know it fits perfectly and have never had a problem these women almost made me get off the flight. I had to pay the $65 for a bag that didn't even weigh 10lbs. I felt targeted. I have traveled multiple times with my son and this bag of his and always got on first when they called families and children. I will really think about canceling my true blue card and whether I will fly jetblue again
