Original Comment This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with in my life. If you are reading this before you buy their product, save yourself the frustration and DON'T buy DeLonghi. I know that I will never buy anything from them ever again. I just spent over an hour and a half on the phone with their customer service department with no resolution to my issue. The reason I am dissatisfied, I purchased a DeLonghi toaster oven and the timer didn't work from the time I took it out of the box. After talking to customer service on multiple occasions, and faxing in the required receipt of purchase, I was told to cut the cord off of the oven and mail the cord to their Tulsa customer service center and I would receive a refund when they received the cord. I did as I was told, ordered another DeLonghi oven (unfortunately)from an online company and waited on my refund. I received the new oven from the online company and a couple of weeks later I received another oven from DeLonghi. When I called and explained to them what had happened, and asked that they please pick up the oven they sent and send me a refund check, I was told that "Unfortunately, the company doesn't issue refunds, only replacements." Which would have been fine if I had been told this in the first place. Now I'm stuck with an oven I don't want/need and I'm out the $$ I spent on both. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was left on hold for about 45 minutes before I finally hung up and called back. After speaking to a different customer service rep, and stayed on hold for a while longer, a supervisor got on the phone and basically just repeated what the agent had told me, and reiterated that corporate would not authorize a refund. It is hard to believe that a corporation as large as DeLonghi is so anti-customer service!
