On 11/25 I called Kmart to arrange a late payment on 2 layaways in Chula Vista, CA. I asssured them that I would make payments on 11/26. I spoke to layaway, who transferred me to a store mgr. He approved the arrangement and transferred me back to layaway for their assurance and my satisfaction. But on 11/26, when I went into the store and make payments, the layaways had been canceled. I am livid. I was served by Victoria in Customer Service. Her tactful way of handling me was to reiterate their layaway contract and explain to me how they have thousands of packages in layaway. I am usually a self controlled individual, but this situation and the unacceptable manner it was handled had my blood boiling. I ncalled on 11/28 where I spoke to the store manager, Sergio, who informed me there was nothing that could be done to appease this situation. Again, I AM COMPLETED DISGRUNDLED. What ever happened to quality service??????
