I am a shopper. I live in a town where we have already lost our Sears store and foresee this happening with our Kmart if something isn't done soon. This store has all of the potential to succeed however the management will surely be the downfall of it. I have to say that 2 out of the last 20 shopping experiences have been smooth transactions. And yes, this is occurring at the check out. I shop and purchase a lot of your clearance products. There is always a problem which requires someone to come and correct the problem. And this usually continues throughout the entirtety of the purchase. The cashiers always seem to be clueless as to what they are doing! It is beyond frustrating and I most always leave shaking my head. It seems as though the management hires anybody! And I mean anybody! The management seems just as clueless and unorganized. Went in to purchase a bday card and gift card and got charged for the gift card but it didn't activate. Mgmt was called and we literally had to wait for 10 minutes for them to leisurely arrive. She didn't have a clue but eventually sent us to customer service for a refund and to activate another card. She couldn't log into a register there and verbally downgraded her cashiers in front of my daughter and myself. Went in last night for a few thing and once again, as always something didn't ring up right which required assistance from customer service. The clerk proceeded and when it came time for bagging he crammed everything all in one bag which obviously wasnt going to work but continued and tried to set the bag in my cart which fell over and he left it. I asked for a sack and explained I could do it no problem.Continued checking me out and another co worker came over and offered him chocolate and they stopped to converse and ignored what he was doing with me completely. He rang up my makeup which again had a problem and required customer service assistance etc... Finished checking out and when walking out the door the alarm went off. I was approached by a gal and also the cashier that assisted me in checking out. He explained to her exactly what made it go off and out of all of my makeup purchase he new exactly which one to pull out of the bag that activated the alarm. He looked at me and said....my bad. I was humiliated to say the least! The team of workers in that store is doing your store no justice! This store needs a real professional to get in there and look at what's happening! This store given the right management and staff with good training and work ethics could make this store flourish. You have no idea how bad this store is ran. I'm completely done with shopping there. I'm a patient person but this store is beyound ridiculous!!!
