I continue to be dissatisfied with the inconsistency in the quality of food served by various locations throughout San Diego. The best 2 are the McDonalds in Santee and the one in El Cajon on Fletcher Parkway. The 2 locations in Rancho San Diego are the worst. McDonalds wonders why profits are down for the 11th year in a row. Strategies to offer a more "deluxe" items, all day breakfast items are not the answer in my opinion. Your starting point is getting the food you do make right. The sweet tea is almost always wrong. It is either not sweet or has an unpleasant herbal taste which varies tremendously by store. The amount of eggs in the egg white sandwich varies from what appears like 2 egg whites to a tablespoon of egg whites (which I discovered to my dismay last weekend). Sometimes the bread they use in sandwiches is soft, sometimes it is stiff. Get some consistency in the quality of food served between your stores before looking to expand your menu and you might just keep the customers you have.
