Original Comment On Nov 27 the AMD crimson upgrade appeared on my screen and I installed it. I don't follow upgrades and didn't know then that this was a whole new &quot;advance&quot; beyond the catalyst. A freeze followed the installation of the upgrade, and a restart turned all my 4 monitors black, making them inaccessible to keyboard and mouse.<br /> <br /> Today, Nov 30, I read that a fix of the problem should be released today. What good will it do me when I can't access my computers? My attempts to email support over this issue only turn up error pages, so I couldn't type in a message their. However, when I clicked on anything that led to a product promotion, that page came up. <br /> <br /> My telephone calls were unanswered, until I asked for the sales department. There I was invited to leave a message. <br /> <br /> How much damage has the download done? I've never had a download cause the slightest hitch in running my computer before (and that includes several from AMD).<br /> <br /> Double that up with a website that has made itself the most impenetrable I've ever seen. I've spent all day on the 27th and all day today, and don't know a thing. Do I just have to keep doing this day after day?
