Original Comment I am writing to you today as a means for me to finally realize that my Kmart store on Normandy Blvd. in Jacksonville, FL. is actually closing for good this Mar. 26 2017. My heart hurts and is sad and heavy that my childhood store is locking it's doors and leaving me. I can recall when my children were little we would make a day of shopping and eating at the restaurant/snack bar in the store. I'd wait and have another cup of coffee while my wife and kids would shop and every few minutes they would return to the restaurant to show me what they found to buy. You see you not only are closing a store but you also close a chapter in our lives. We love and are going to miss our store. I wish I had the money to buy Kmart then I'd leave this store open. Again goodbye my friend! NEVER WILL I SHOP WALMART!
