Original Comment I have been a proud patron of HEB stores for well over 50 years and I have always appreciated your efforts to serve our communities with great products at very reasonable prices. But your recent decision to become a part of the cancel culture is so very disappointing. I suppose that you are convinced that taking the actions to remove products like My Pillow from your product line is somehow a statement that you do not want to be associated with anyone who might be identified as racist, violent or numerous other socially unacceptable identities.Sadly many good Americans like myself are being wrongly branded and associated with ideals that we would never embrace. I am watching with disbelief that we have come to a place in America that groups have become well-organized and have learned how to manipulate public perception and use threats to cause corporations like yours to take actions that not only restrict us from having good products readily available for purchase, but indirectly falsely associate us with absolute lies. Persons like myself are left wondering what we can do to avoid being cancelled ourselves. While I have never been an activist and have no real inclinations to become one, I am becoming convinced that I must take some concrete actions to do what I can to stop this madness. I will simply start by no longer patronizing your stores and I will encourage everyone I have relationships with to consider doing the same. And I will consider what others steps I can take to widen my influence to a larger group and encourage them to join us. And I can assure you that I will not patronize your stores unless and until you offer a public apology to companies like My Pillow, for not only hurting them financially, but more than that, damaging their good name and reputation.
