Original Comment I just purchased a new 21 Craftsman Riding lawn mower and am not to happy. I purchased this one to replace my 1980's model because the engine failed. I should have paid to have it fixed but figured I would go for a new one instead. The old mower was much more efficient and easier to operate that the new one and the plastic grass catcher system, which for some reason was attached by 30 pound of steel. Didn't make much sense to me and the fact that I have to disengaged the blades to back up requires me to spend a lot of time being unproductive. Finally when I bought the grass catcher attachment supposedly the blades were supposed be that came with it were mulching blades but in fact they were no different that the ones that came with the mower
