Original Comment My sister-in-law and I were at the self check out ringing up food and towards the end of the transaction wine. Monday evening at Lockhart tx location at 9:15 pm 5/24/2021<br /> <br /> We were laughing and needing assistance with the self checkout. I myself have not used the self checkout for multiple items and only after already in the process of using realized 10 items or less. I pointed that out and laughed and during the entire experience played with my sis in law. I realize most people do not share in my bubbly loud personality but never did it cross my mind that this normal to me behavior would cause me /us to be deprived the sell of alcohol. The young man who was probably underage came over to assist w the transaction to check I'd. He said something like can't sell alcohol at this moment. I thought is he playing ? Then he said Tabc and I asked what's that mean. He never made it clear what was going on if some religious holiday I'm unaware of? After googled TABC I said he thinks we are drunk! It was only funny because not the case. More conversation took place with a manager who approached us as I was looking up TABC on my phone to understand what just happened. <br /> <br /> I understand now that it was made clear they assumed us to be drunk, but I am upset at the false assumption made by someone who can be assumed to be too young to drink lot know how to make that judgment call. <br /> <br /> It's humiliating and a defamation of character. <br /> <br /> I should not have to act sober when sober..... by that I mean tone down my bubbly goofy personality which was mistaken for public intoxication. <br /> <br /> I would love to speak to someone regarding this humiliating false accusation. I can care less about the wine , it's the principle.
