3-19-14 My old router started to crap out and the tech suggested I buy a new one. He made me a good deal that turned out to be too good because it wouldn't go through and I was later told so. Asked to speak with a manager, but told the manager was too busy to talk to me. I was told someone would contact me promptly at 8:00 the next morning. Nobody called and I couldn't get through all day. Kept getting a message to try later. After about 20 of my wasted hours trying to get this issue resolved, another supervisor got me part of the deal. Finally got the new router and had immediate troubles. After a technician determined that the new router was seriously behind in router updates, and updated it for me (new router???), he tried to get me to spend $40 dollars at another website to optimize my computer because he saw a duplicate file. I had a better idea, disconnect the router and there was no trouble. The firmware update did not resolve the intermittent problem. Had to call in again. It was determined to be a hardware issue. Got a replacement approved and told I would have it in about 5 business days. After a week and a half, I called to see where it was. I was given a tracking number that turned out to be for the defective unit I was to return. Then told they are out of stock for now (but nobody let me know). I told the rep that my wife needs it for work and they are screwing us. Then he told me he found one at some other location and it'll take a couple of days to process us getting that one. And then another 5-7 business days to get it. What total crap. And after all this crap, no upgrade offer, no expedited shipping offer. I should call them back and tell them to shove it and I'll just take my money back and go to a reputable company. In hindsight, that's what I should have done in the first place. After just reading some reviews of other people's horrible experiences, I'm seriously wondering if the new one will even work. What happened to this company? Wonder if they even care???
