Original Comment I live in Troy, Ohio, and bank at the Fifth Third branch inside our local Kroger. Yesterday I was at the branch doing my usual banking, and found out that this branch is permanently closing on December 12th. This closing will cause major inconvenience for me and other seniors doing bank business and grocery shopping all in one stop. I want to encourage Fifth Third to seriously reconsider the decision to close this Kroger branch. My humble opinion is that someone made a financial decision and forgot the basic premise of "why" Fifth Third is a very successful hometown bank in concert with another Cincy favorite Kroger. Did Fifth Third ask its CUSTOMERS about this decision to close the Kroger bank in Troy??? I doubt it.
