Claim number dated 09-15-2014. On 10-10-2014, I sent by "Certified Return Receipt" my letter addressed to the President of Toyota, 9 West 57th Street, Suite 4900, NY, NY 10016, USA, and it was returned to me 11-8-2014, for reason: "Return to Sender, Unclaimed, Unable to Forward". I also sent copies of this letter by the same means to the General Manager and Customer service in Torrance, CA, which were received. I also copied Mr. Anthony Fox, Secretary of Transportation, and that letter was received. Why would your Corporate Office refuse receipt? I will mail again to the same address and include the same letter that was returned to me to see if it will be received this time. This address you list on your website as being the current and correct one. It is quite puzzling when correspondence is refused by Toyota. This letter had to do with my payment for replacing the "intermediate steering shaft" on my 2006 Toyota Camry with only 20,755 miles on the odometer. I requested Toyota reimburse the $491.64 I paid. My letter went on to describe the problems Toyota has had with this issue and the customers who have had to pay for the same repair, even though Toyota knew for many years of the problem with not only Camrys but Solaras, Highlanders, Avalons, and the Prius model. I have not received any response from Toyota to this date. Can someone please address my concerns. I would be happy to fax my letter to you before I mail it again to Toyota. Please respond. Thank you.
