Original Comment Unbelievable that kmarts layaway has failed so many! I think one is too many but clearly after reading the comments below, there are many! I am not a customer but know a mom that tries to get ahead and 9 days before Christmas she is told her items are unavailable and she now has to WAIT to get her money back!!!! Unacceptable!!! Most people that use layaway programs BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE EXTRA $$$$! So now they have to somehow come up with it? This is the most shameful business act I have seen right before Christmas! Someone screwed up and it needs to be rectified today not 7 day or even two days from now. Order the items from somewhere and get it to these poor parents.
