I am extremely irate with net 10. i am on disability and buy my older children 1 Christmas present a year. My 15 year old decided she wanted a cell phone for her present this year.I purchased an android phone and unlimited 50$ card for net 10 through Wal-mart. she was very excited Christmas morning when she opened it, her first phone. we tried to activate the phone and everything went through at net 10 but......the phone would not program!!!!! i called customer service their response was KEEP TRYING WE'RE BUSY TODAY. Are you serious????? Either way the phone was taken back to Wal-mart whose technicians spent 3 hours trying to get the phone to connect to net 10 and program without success. Their only solution was buy another phone and add the card since the 50$ card did not get used, THE PHONE NEVER ACTIVATED WAS LITERALLY USELESS!!!! Since i could not afford to buy another phone i found someone two nights ago i gave someone 25$ to fix the phone, still never used or activated, they had to take viruses out of the phone put up the phones firewall. Amazingly the phone activated no problem. You would think the nightmare was over....NO. My daughter had no problems Saturday night phone worked perfectly, then we woke up the next morning to the phone being deactivated!!!!!*******!!!! I call your "GREAT" customer service and explain the situation they tell me the card waqs used on the phone from Christmas day i needed to buy another 50$ card and they would give me 2 days free. NOOOOO this is in no way acceptable. i ask the check the account if the phone was unusable do you not think a 15 year old wouldn't have made 1 phone call, 1 text, or get on social media ONE time in a month. OOhh yes lets not forget i had two different supervisors hang up on me when i told them this was unacceptable. I am filing a complaint with you as a last chance for Net 10 to correct this error. I understand 150$ is a drop in the bucket to you but to me a person on disability that is my gas and electric bill for the month!!!!!!!!!!! i will give 72 hours for an acceptable resolution then i'm filing a report with the better business bureau and i will post daily on my social media page about this situation so that no one i know will ever buy one of your phone or use your service. If this is how your company works and treats your customers you don't even deserve to be in stores because you target the low-income as your base customer, i only say that because anyone with money uses a good phone carrier that tries to make their customers happy, not have the screw you attitude I got from your representatives. please rectify this situation i don't feel like spending the next six months of my life boycotting your company at the stores they are being sold in or on social media, but if necessary I WILL!!!!! I'm not going to lose 150$ for one night of service after i have had a child stare at a useless phone for over a month she mys well have not even recieved a christmas present. Thank-You for your time i look forward to hearing from you.
