Since 2002, I had owned Chrysler products with no issues, ever. Just about 2 years ago, I opted to lease a 2015 200 (I had turned in a 2012 which I loved). Since taking ownership of this car, it has given me nothing but problems - all of which started prior to having the car for only one year. After receiving a recall notice concerning an issue with the transmission, I contacted a local dealership close to where I now live, but was told that Chrysler does not have a "plan" to offer free loaner vehicles to those of us who have only one car and no other to fall back upon. I work full-time and also attend college courses, so the need for a car is very high. However, since this was a manufacturer's problem, I did not feel it right for me to have to pay out of my pocket for anything. I was told that I had to return to the dealer from which I got the car. I had moved since the purchase of the car and now live 40 miles away from the dealership. I contacted the dealer - Deacon's Chrysler in Mayfield Village, OH. They assured me that I could get a loaner and had me set up a time (Saturday) to bring the car in to have it repaired. Upon arriving that morning, I was informed that the recall part was not in stock, that they ran out the day before. I questioned as to why I was not called to cancel or reschedule and explained that I had driven 40 miles for nothing. They put me on a "priority" list for when they would get more parts - about 2 weeks later. To date and to be brief, my car still isn't right. After 5 times within a 4 month period of driving 40 miles to and from Deacon's, they finally replaced the entire transmission. The service manager was quite nasty with me each time I had to go in and was very disrespectful - even threatening that they would not loan me a car. He also implied that, being a female, it must all be in my head and called me out to be a liar who didn't know anything. The treatment received by Deacon's service department was very offensive and, in the end, I still had issues with my car. Just yesterday, I received a notice from FCA for yet ANOTHER recall for a transaxle wire harness. Of course, the parts have not yet been sent to dealerships, so now I sit and wait in disgust that, once again, I have to endure this hardship all over again. I refuse to deal any further with Deacon's and do intend to ensure that Chrysler backs me up for me to get a loaner while my car, once again, is in for repair from the apparent lack of quality in this car as a result of Chrysler itself. I still have a little under a year on the lease of this car and unfortunately, even with these issues, I am having a tough time getting out of the lease without being forced to get another one of these junk vehicles. After 14 years of owning various Chryslers, this entire experience has turned me off and I don't ever plan to buy another one of their pieces of junk again. The company disgusts me with their poor customer service, lack of attention to an abusive dealership, and obvious poor quality in the manner of how they build their cars. Today, I spend unnecessary time getting answers - whether I get a promise that I can take my car to a closer dealership than 40 miles away and be allowed a free loaner, or find some way to get out of this lease with no further obligation nor penalty on me.
