Original Comment So I have a Samsung phone given to me by my room mate. the phone is sim locked for other carriers. this is a fully paied off phone that is no longer connected. my room mate has all info except the 4 diget pin. the account is over 3 years old amd he don't remember it. I called boost and was told there is nothing he can do to get the phone umlocked for another service without that code. it is my daughters birthday next month and I was trying to get her a phone. seeing how the phone was fully paied off at time of purches and the service is so old the phone number is already reassnged I don't see why I cant get a puk code so my daughter can have a phone for her 13th birthday. we gave all the info on the account except the 4 digget pin and the account is so old and been disconnected for a while no. beimg told that there is no way to retrive the info we need that means the phone is usles.we are very upset about being told that there is nothing we can do including going to a boost store and showing id to prove owner ship that my roommate has asked my to look into adding him to my att account and he will cancel his account he still has. I understand security and stuff but the phone is paid offin full and no long has service so there is no reseon to deniy the sim unlock so I can give it as a gift to my daughter on her birthday. very rude customer serve was even hung up on 2 times and denied a superviser.i am reaching out to corpreat in hoes to resolve this small issue or even info on how to get the info needed to get the phone puk code. very disappointed in the customer serve we where provided and this was a very dissastisfed call. if u can please email me with a way to resolve this issue it would be greatly apricated.thank u for your time andf again I hope to resolve this matter.
