My father is 66 years old and when he is feeling ok he helps me with the shopping for my business as it can be too much at times for only one person to do all the shopping.
I asked him if he can go to Sams Club in Avondale because they are one of the locations closest to us that sells cigarettes. He agreed to help as he saw that I had several other things to get. We really don't like going to this location (Sam's Club on Dysart) in Avondale because we had several issues with them. The first one is that the product advertised on the shelves is advertised cheaper but when you go to pay it's more than what was advertised on the shelves. We started noticing this and would return the item to customer service for our full refund. The other thing was they place expired product on their shelves, several incidents have accord where my customers will bring expired muffins or cookies or any kind of edible things purchased at Sams club for resale that would be purchased by us that day or a few days before and would be expired for a month.
On this day when I had asked my father to take the trip to Sams club for me to purchase cartons of Newport menthol 100's and other items we may need that they only have, he agreed to help me and was on his way.
After an hour or so I received a call from him asking me to come down to Sams club to pick up the cart that the manager with 2 security guards stopped him as he was exiting the store, they took his cart and took him to a small room. His cart was not with him or where he can see it. The manager was very rude and was trying to force him to write a statement but my father refused, that is when he told him he had called the police. The police came and issued my father with trespassing that the manager had requested and they terminated my business membership. I arrived and they handed me the cart, I was confused as to what had happened but took the cart and left the store. I unloaded the cart into my car and waited for my father until he was allowed to leave the building.
This was a very upsetting day for us and it put a toll on his health. As we arrived home and started unloading the car my dad noticed that the cigarettes he paid for was not all accounted for, when we counted and reviewed the receipt (which I have uploaded a picture for) there was only 45 cartons accounted for and my father had paid for 60 cartons of Newport menthol 100 and they charged my business Amex card $75.52 for each individual carton but the receipt also states they charged $77.52 at one point for a carton and $75.52 for a carton at another point, what is the correct price? Why is there 2 different prices for the same item? This is not the first time and I have proof that Sams club refunded my money after they over charged me and god only knows how many other times was I over charged and I didn't pay attention and many other people don't either.
