I fully understand with the past year , everyone is a little short with patience. We are finally able our grandchildren once again. My grandson Greyson will be turning 2, and I was so excited to prepare a birthday cake for him. I purchased decorations for a dinosaur birthday cake. I love the cupcakes from Sams, so I called 4 days in advance and ordered a 2 tier cake. No decorations were needed and frosted with chocolate frosting. The order was repeated back and to be ready on Friday at 1:00. When I arrived, an employee ask what I ordered and went to retrieve my cake. I was told that they had no order for that cake, couldn't find it. I repeated the whole order process and was told they couldn't find it and they had more things to prepare and couldn't bother anymore , while she flapped her hand as she walked away. I know employees are hard to come by right now, but in return u will lose your customers all together. I was treated so rudely, and ask for a manager who literally saw the whole ordeal happen. All he could say was, nothing he could do. I have been a member with Sams for 30 years, no more. This was another reason to take my business to Costco. Sams has become rude, sloppy and always out of so many items. The customer service is absolutely horrendous. Costco is by far the better store. Better wake up Sams, customers make your business. This incident happened at the Chattanooga store on May 7, 2021.
