Holiday Inn in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ- Discriminated Against-<br /> I called to see if we would be able<br /> To get early check in. The man on the phone immediately said they had no availability even when I gave my reservation number and last name. Upon arriving at the hotel he stereotyped me by calling my name out when entering the lobby even before arriving at the counter. When I got to the counter he continued to say I had no reservation and they had no availability. The general manager had to be called and she apologized for his actions without knowing what happened. Even when they found my reservation in the system, this man continued to say they were going to cancel my reservation because I was going to be late, though check in was not until 3pm and I arrived at 1pm. We chose not to stay there and the manager Daisy said she would refund us 100 percent of the room charge. Today she won't take my calls and she states that it never happened. That was horrible customer service! I'm not sure if this guy was having a bad day or not but the issue still remains. His co worker told us that he was in training and to me that's even worse. We will never stay at another Holiday Inn again. The hotel should train their employees better in the field of customer service.
