We purchased our refrigerator on April 16, 2023, from Lowes in Hot Springs, AR. On November 19, 2023, the freezer stopped working. On November 20, 2023, we called Lowes, and they informed us we would need to contact Frigidaire since we have a warranty on it. We called and the male requested that we unplug the fridge and wait about 15 mins to plug it back in. We did this and it did not fix the issue. In fact, it made the refrigerator go out as well. We called back and were told a service tech would be reaching out to us. We did not receive a call until November 29, 2023. Several days after Thanksgiving which we had family coming in for dinner, we lost all the food in our freezer and refrigerator causing us to purchase just what we needed for thanksgiving and use coolers to store food. The service tech told us he could not fix the compressor. That it would have to be someone else, and they should be in contact with us in a couple of days. Since we had not received a phone call or email, I called December 4, 2023, and the lady I spoke with told me we should hear something within 24 hours and if we did not receive either a phone call or email to call back and they would replace the refrigerator at NO cost to us. So, I did as she told me and called back on December 5, 2023, with the ref # she provided. The male I spoke to was very rude and told me I received bad information from the day before and we should hear from someone within 72 hours. I went online with Frigidaire website on December 7, 2023, and sent a chat message asking for any updates. Was told to call back within 24 hours. I called back on December 8, 2023, and was told they still had not found anyone to fix the type of compressor we have on our refrigerator, that they are still searching. I requested to speak to a manager and was told they did not have the phone number for a manager. They only communicate by email. They have been searching for a tech for over a week and refuse to help us in any way. We are now almost 23 days without a working fridge that we paid over $2361.46 for and only lasted 6 months. I would expect us to have more than 7 months of use out of it. As you know Christmas is fast approaching and we will have even more family at our house. This needs to be resolved quickly. We have never had so much trouble or experienced such rudeness from customer service before.
