I too have had a nightmarish experience trying to get my prescription from Express Scripts. My doctor sent in the prescription and when I checked the order status on line, its said that the medication was not covered by my plan! That is false. In fact, the medication is covered, but the doctor has to submit a &quot;prior authorization form.&quot; Nowhere does the website inform the customer of this. <br /> <br /> Then I had my doctor submit the prior authorization form, but the Express Scripts site still said the medication was not covered. So I called Express Scripts (for about the fifth time) and was told that the prior authorization form takes 72 hours to process. I explained to the supervisor that I had been without my medication for over a week, but she absolutely refused to do anything to try to expedite the process. It almost seems like this company holds regular meetings to discuss how to make the drug purchasing experience more frustrating for its customers.
