Original Comment After reading all these complaints, I realize that I am not going to get anywhere with Whirlpool, except the run around. What a grave disappointment my Gold Series side by side refrigerator has been. <br /> <br /> Going into the second week without the ice maker, same as the week before Christmas. Freezer forms ice and frost and leaks onto floor. New part came in today but it was the wrong one! Customer service promptly hung up on me last night, telling me to call back today. Found out it was a call center and the guy had finished his work day! <br /> <br /> If I want a working refrigerator, I am going to have to go out and purchase another. I purchased a complete appliance package but the refrigerator has been problem after problem. Too bad Whirlpool no longer stands by its customers. Too bad Whirlpool no longer stands by its products.
