Ditto to all the other frustrated customers of net10 aka Tracfone!! They have GOT to have the worst cellphone customer service I have EVER dealt with!!<br /> <br /> Why should I spend a WHOLE DAY (yes, a whole day) calling and re-calling, going through myriads of customer service reps just to transfer a number from one NET10 phone to the next?!<br /> Every time I called, a rep told me something different. Most couldn't even understand my problem. And ALL just read from a script when they couldn't help me. I also think hanging up on customers is an ACTUAL policy at this garbage company because it happened to me so many times! The final solution is ALWAYS to send you out a new SIM card!<br /> <br /> Why am I even using this garbage company? Because my dad is 89 yrs old and doesn't want a complicated phone and simple service. Well after throwing away 2 phones because they would NOT work in his house -seriously?-(thank God I got them on sale at the $1 store for $5 and $9), I just got him a basic Verizon phone, put him on my plan. Problem solved.<br /> <br /> Net10 epitomizes the saying: &quot;You get what you pay for.&quot; <br /> TracFone (net10 parent) has the government contract for providing free phones to senior citizens and lower income households. Because of that I don't think they even CARE about customer service. I wonder when that contract ends??????.....probably when we see TracFone/net 10 go out of business because seriously, if the government wasn't paying for the service why would Anyone stay?!
