Original Comment My prescription for Mimvey was renewed at the Sam's Club Pharmacy Store# 6240<br /> in Glendora, CA on January 14th.<br /> And again on April 8th, 2016.<br /> It is a rather expensive medication,<br /> but I am willing to pay for it because it my Health - I only have one of those.<br /> The Pharmacist had to do some additional &quot;paperwork&quot;, in coordination with my Physician,<br /> because it's a new insurance coverage year.<br /> <br /> Somewhere in his procedures, he discovered there is a recent generic alternative for the Mimvey.<br /> When the Pharmacy called to say when the prescription could be ready,<br /> he mentioned this generic medication, and that it was substantially less expensive than the Mimvey,<br /> and inquired if I'd prefer to change to the generic.<br /> <br /> The difference was incredible!<br /> The Mimvey was $295.95 for a three-month supply.<br /> For the same number of tablets, the generic was $98.60.<br /> That's a remarkable difference.<br /> <br /> My commendation to this Pharmacist for making this discovery, notifying me, and for lowering the cost of my medication. <br /> <br /> I'm unsure if Sam's Club requires him to keep track of prices,<br /> but I am certainly indebted to him for doing so.<br /> <br /> Please make sure he gets LOTS of recognition for helping me save a lot more money.<br /> It is worth this eMail to Sam's Club Customer Service.
