I have always thought HEB was such a fine upstanding fixture in Texas. Until now. There are signs throughout the stores about keeping your customers and employees safe through this covid crisis. Yet during my 30 minute visit to the Marble Falls store today I counted at least 8 different customers shopping with no face covering whatsoever. Then I witnessed a heated confrontation between 2 customers, one with a face covering, and one without. When I stopped by to talk to the manager about the situation he just said "well we have our signs up and I'm not asking my employees to enforce them. " This is a state order issued by the governor of Texas. How can HEB just choose to not enforce it? What a terrible example you are setting for the state of Texas. No wonder our COVID rate is one of the highest in the nation. I am no longer proud of HEB.
