I am so disgusted with the service from LG. I have been trying to get my 4 year old refrigerator fixed since 8/10. While I was not home the compressor blew on my refrigerator. We lost everything. We called LG and requested someone to come out prior to my son going in for surgery on 8/19.. We were told they would send someone the day before. LG sent a tech from A and E who replaced the compressor the day of surgery. Then that night we received a new code. We called LG again for a new ticket number and had to wait another week. That person fixed something and then the same code came back. My ice melts, the fridge doesn't cool and code is still here. The night before the service tech came I ended up back at the hospital with my son. I need a working fridge for fluids and meds for my child. I was told to buy a mini fridge and submit for reimbursement, haven't heard anything about that. I'm the meantime, it is costing me a lot to have food Delivered for five people. Not to mention the virus that I can't just go to the store everyday and chance bringing it home to my son. So I have been trying to get service again since last wed 8/26 and am either disconnected or the rep can't answer the question. I have spent about 10 hours on hold with your company since 8/10 and no answers. I don't spend 3,000 on a product for it to go in four years. Then I was told they have to service it again before we can talk about replacement which will take 4-6 weeks for consideration after the third tech that I can't get to my house.. So I'm at 21 days without a fridge and prob another week before it may possibly be fixed then to go another month or more before you will think about replacing. Can you survive that long in a pandemic without a fridge. And it gets better, I tried to say screw this I'll buy another.. guess what can't get one delivered for at least another month. Let's not even go into the people you hire that can't think without reading a script. My fridge is unplugged and the compressor is dead. Ok let's try to figure out the issue. No joke the lady asked me what the temp was of the fridge. It's been unplugged for days.. I'll wait till you take the temp. Are you serious?? I have also been told you will receive a call.. then it was they will be there Monday. So they are calling and showing up on the same day. Yes ma'am .. guess what neither happened. So what is LG going to do to fix this bc right now I will never buy another LG product again. Feel free to reach me at 516-698-3888
