Purchased a craftsman 2800 psi power washer from Lowes 4/7/2020.
Brought it home, assembled it, put small amount of gas in gas tank, ran for less than a minute and put away.
8/31/20 brought the unit out to pressure wash my driveway. filled gas tank and gas just flowed out of the carburetor. Called Lowes were unit was purchased and was advised they had a 30-day return policy.called your 1-888-331-4569 and waited for close to four hours to speak with somone. I advised your employee of my problem and told them that the Brigg@Stratton motor had a two year warranty and requested a dealership to take unit for repairs. Rent a Tool in N.Myrtle beach is a rep for your engines and I took unit there today. Person behind desk told me they don't repair craftsman products.I advised this idiot the motor was a Briggs@Stratton engine and the gas pouring out of the carburetor was covered under your warranty. After a loud vocal discussion,a work order was repaired. Went back for a copy of work order and mechanic working on unit advised me repairs would not be covered due to old gas. Picked up the unit and paid a $47.95 bill for repairs that were covered under warranty. The gas that I use is premium (93) purchased in April and I always add sta-bil to extend gas life. The gas that the mechanic removed from my power washer did not have water in it and the color difference was from clear gas mixed with sta-bil!!
I REQUEST A ADDRESS WHERE I CAN SEND MY BILL PAYMENT FOR REIMBURSEMENT!!!
