Original Comment We bought a top of the line LG refrigerator and 6 months later it was making a growling noise.($4,000) We called LG which takes about 20-30 minutes to get a customer service agent. They gave instructions to troubleshoot and nothing worked. They gave us the run around until the year warranty ran out. 2 1/2 years later the noise sounds like a prop plane taking off and we have spent half a day getting numbers of local repairmen to come out. 2 out of the three won't even work on LG products. They have so many loopholes it's impossible to get someone to fix this thing. DO NOT EVER BUY AN LG REFRIGERATOR. We could have gone to a used appliance store and had a better product.
