Original Comment I stayed at your Holiday Inn Express in Forest City, N.C. 28043 and I have been in the Hotel Business for over 20 years plus as a Maintenance Engineer and DO know how to check for BED BUGS, in which this hotel was CLEAN as a whistle, no BUGS here ! ! !<br /> I did find scattered CANDY just behind a corner setting chair by the WINDOW and I do have pictures.<br /> I also had a very LOOSE TOILET SEAT too. again i do have pictures.<br /> I found a TV REMOTE CONTROLLER which had a MISSING BATTERY DOOR COVER, and had lots of CLEAR PACKING TAPE wrapped around it several times &amp; was put into a CLEAR PLASTIC baggie.<br /> NOTE: <br /> I took this information to the front desk clerk and she said I can't do anything about it!<br /> She said i am JUST a FRONT END CLERK, I can NOT HELP you ! ! ! <br /> This is so very sad for your future customers. <br /> I have stayed at several of your hotels over the past 20 years as I travel across the U.S.A.<br /> I am a U.S. NAVY VETERAN &amp; a SENIOR CITIZEN too. I am retired and I am now a STORM CHASER for bad weather. I worked for a 5 STARS hotel over my past years and 3 stars hotels as well. <br /> WE ALWAYS DELTED with all customer situations and or problems as well. WE NEVER had any customer go away upset. The young black Female that waited on me looked to be about 30+ years old, but with a I can't be bothered attitude, and I checked in on Feb 10th around 6pm roughly and this Holiday Inn Express was at 200 Holiday Inn Drive Forest City, N.C. 28043 <br /> She, the night Desk Clerk needs to be written up and reschooled, on how to do her job properly. I WAS VERY DISSAPPOINTED in my STAY HERE ! ! !
