I have been a loyal Subaru customer for over 10 years (2 Foresters).

My gripe is that I took my 2011 Subaru Forester to my dealer (Prime Subaru of Hudson, N on 7/20/2015 for tapping noise in the engine compartment. They said that my vehicle was "EXTREMELY LOW on OIL" and showed NO signs of LEAKING or BURNING. They ADDED 5 QTS of synthetic oil and sent me on my way. I asked why the oil level was SO LOW because they serviced the vehicle 3,500 miles ago. He said it might be a CLOGGED PCV valve?? I asked if the vehicle had an "LOW OIL" level idiot light and he said NO and I asked WHY and he didn't know. The engine has always been serviced by this dealership and my engine has 71022 miles on it. My fear is that there is a BIGGER PROBLEM and they DROPPED the BALL and I'll have to pay the price????

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Brian Sullivan
