Hello. Ive been a Sam's Club member for 18 years. I have never had a problem with Sam's Club and have spent thousands of dollars there. I was sent an email on 8/19/16 by samsclub.com for a deal on a Samsung Note 7 cellphone and it said "the new Galaxy Note 7 bonus offer $150 Sam's Club gift card available Aug 19-28 plus no activation fee Aug 19-21. So I went to Sam's Club the next day which was 8/20/16. I was told that I had to have already preordered the phone in order to get that deal which expired. The small print clearly states that I have till 9/18/16 to get the phone. The manager refused to give me the deal and said he had no phones in the store to purchase, told me i would have to take it up with samsclub.com...and this was before Samsungs recall on the phone. I called Sam's Club customer service the same day and they told me they would look into it and gave me a reference number. After a week I called back cause I got no response. I was told it was a promotional thing and that it was over. Its 9/13/16 now as I write this so how is it over its not 9/18/16. I asked for a supervisor and was told the same. I was told I could take it up with corporate and I havent gotten a call or email at all. This is called false advertisement...all I want is the deal that I was sent.
