I worked with a lady for 28 years who has been battling her daughters cancers for years now. Her daughter was put into ICU dealing with pneumonia and mom has been right by her side. She had a few minutes while her daughter was having treatments to run to HEB here is her story:<br /> <br /> <br /> I normally love HEB - for everything from prices to the way they are involved in the community. But today I was disappointed. I ordered for curbside pickup at 3:00 this morning from the Mueller HEB when Lizzie was having breathing treatments. It was totally my fault that I chose pickup for tomorrow thinking it was pickup for today. I ordered 15 items I really needed. I got to curbside at the appointed time and they told me it was the wrong date. I explained that I'm in ICU with my child at Dell. The manager denied a quick pick of the items saying they were too busy. I was the only car in the curbside waiting area. I know it was my fault in getting the date wrong, but I hoped for a little special consideration under the circumstances. It just made me sad.<br /> <br /> <br /> This hurts my heart. What happened to compassion
