Original Comment I was shopping in a crowded HEB store on South Mason Road today ( a busy Saturday). I saw three people not wearing masks. I approached three employees who did nothing but said they would contact a manager. After ten minutes of the people still shopping, amongst employees, without being approached, I went to find a manager. He told me they ask people to wear a mask and offer masks if you need one but they are not asking people to leave. So I said " so you are not enforcing a mask policy?". To which he replied they were not. I continued to see these people and another one through the store. I live in an area of community transmission where a school has just been shut down and the school I work in has community spread. This is the same community this store is located in. I am beyond disappointed in HEB for not doing their part to control the spread as well help keep their employees safe . I should also note there is a sign posted at the front of this store that states masks are required. Clearly they are not.
