I booked my first ever cruise with carnival spirit 07/01/215.The staff were excellent right across the board it was an enjoyable and fun experience would I book again cant wait as it was like living in a different world the steward that attended my suite is great and I would book the same suite I would do it on my own now.The only thing IS that after a couple of days after returning I received a statement from my bank and my account was over drawn after discussing it with my bank they discovered that on the 22/01/2015 two purchases were made on the spirit when I left the ship all that had to be paid was the price of two cans of coke I need answers as that money was going towards my next cruise with carnival sprit

I booked a Carnival cruise for 03/22/2014-Have alwas went on Carnival-I have health problem with my wife and wanted a change the trip to the September 27/2014 cruise from the same port Ft Lauderdale-I wouldnt think there was a problem-until I heard from Felicia the supervisor-couldn't of cared about my situation cannot change-so Ill take my sick wife on the cruise on March22/14-and this one I promise will be the last cruise on Carnival

Hi, I am Helen Hayes I traveled on carnivalsplender last June I fell on my knee comming out of the hot tube. I reported it to the offficer and thought I was alright, but after getting home my knee stayed bruised and kept on hurting so I went to the doctor and had a hair line fractor. Iam saying this to letyou maybe a matt can be put down to asorbed the water and and pervent falls.This will not stop me from cruiseing with carnival, the manner in wich carnival keeps us with a smile with the great hospitality for our family it is the best. In fact I am planning on cruiseing in June or July13,2014 to southern caribbeam for 8 days.I been crusing with carnival for 11 cruies. Thanks Helen Hayes

I have been on many cruises. Always would highly recommend this cruise line over others. My cruise on the Dream from Oct 5 - Oct 12 was terrible. Not only did I have to ask for CLEAN TOWELS because the ones hanging in bathroom was dirty, room service DID NOT bring napkins or silverware 3 mornings, bloody napkin was sent once. Cabin person NEVER came to introduce himself...I called him on my Tuesday evening to ask WHY I did not have a towel creature in my cabin. He said, "I guess I forgot." Had to ask for husband's golden pin. Took 2 days to get. Ask could we maybe go to Formal Dining Room later since ship was 5 to 6
hours late getting to san juan because of medical emergency. A female behind customer desk named Dana was VERY RUDE and said NO. This is only a few problems we had. I am so disappointed with Carnival Cruise Line.

We just got home for our cruise on the Magic from Galveston Texas. This is my third cruise and my second on Carnival. I planned this cruise around my 35th wedding. I have been trying to get my husband to take a cruise with me and he said book it.

The balcony suite was great as was the housekeeping staff. The food and service in the dining room was below par. They forgot my husband's order twice. The food was bland and tastless. We had better food at the pizza area and lido deck than we did in the dining room. The other thing was when you were by the pool and wanted a drink the staff would act like they did not here you.

You might be thinking that I am just an Okie and do not know about good food or how food should be prepared. My husband and I raised our children in California and have eaten at some of best resturants.

I chose the Magic because it was going to Belize. My mother-in-law said it had the most beautiful beaches, better tha Hawaii. After a day in Mahogany Bay we received a letter from the Captain telling us to stay in the port area because of terrorist and it was not safe to go to the other side of the island where the best beaches were.

This cruise was to make my husband want to go on cruises with me. They succeeded in making him not want to go on another cruise.The only thing that could have gone wrong was to have a fire like the Triumph.

I would give this cruise a 5 for the room and housekeeping, they were great. This rest was a flop. This was to be a special trip for us.

We talked to several people on board and they said the same thing about the food. After all the touble with the other ships I would have thought you would have step up your game with the Magic to keep people happy. I was wrong.

Carnival has very bad cutomer service.
What happened was the customer service person share with my wife and I that if we allowed them to include our flight in with the cruise package it would include the flight, Hotel, and overnight stay and transportation to the port and back from the port to the airport. After agreeing to it and we paid our monies, and when I was able to print out boarding passes I discovered the return transporation was not included as the customer service perosn had stayed on the phone.
I then called them and all I was told was they could not help me. I asked to speak to manager and I was told I could not speak to a manager. May I ask why I cannot speak to a manager

We took a cruise on Jan.27th on the Breeze. It is a very
nice and clean ship. However, the service is terrible on deck. We had to find a server to ever get a drink, then it took forever. The service in the dining room was very slow.The food in the dining room was not as good as on deck. We always had very good shows, now it is only singing, etc. However, the singers are good, but definately not a broadway show. The cleaning people were always in the way. The cabin steward was very good. This is our fourth cruise on Carnival. It will be our last.

It seems from other comments I am reading that Carnival has a reputation for mishandling bookings and made another mistake in cancelling one of my bookings, causing stress and frustration to another customer. I made 2 bookings for a cruise coming up this Monday (Bahamas Jan 7 2013) and 1 for my mother and law and older daughter was cancelled, without my knowing it. Now they are stating the ship is full and there is no guarantee they will get on board. I need a response immediately to insure my well planned out vacation is not ruined.

Wow we cruise in 9 days. I have contacted Carnival several times finally got threw to a Lead who was a total witch. The rep who made our booking made a mistake. The price went down and supposedly since she made the mistake it is my fault. This is our 3rd cruise with this company and never again will I spend my time with them. They have been nothing but rude and ungrateful It is funny when companies get too large how unappreciative of customers they get. Especially a lead named Janet. When knowing there was a mistake made laughs on the phone and says there is nothing we can do. Unfortunately this is our Christmas present to our family. Carnival you have a lot to learn about customer service and how to run a company. Especially when I have called your Corporate offices and you can't even have the decency to call back. Maybe if your director wasn't making stupid blog comments and videos you could do so.

Seems Carnival is making quite a bad reputation for themselves... we have the same issue with them cancelling our cruise after we recieved a paid in full reciept!!!

We have just returnd from a cruise to the Black sea ,on board the Arcadia ,and want to make you aware of the damage that waS DONE TO YOUR REPUTATION .
we like to sit on the prom deck so as not to be in the sun allday,but it was nothing but a building site ,thay were sanding ,painting ,varnishing ,grinding hammering ,welding ,every day ,and all day ,on 4 occassions they hosed down all the decks including the sun chairs,so we were unable to use them untill lunch timne ,We had to lay the cushions on there sides to drain them and get them dry ,never any help from the crew,we paid good money to have a nice relaxing holiday ,but it was anything but.they closed sveral sections of the decks at times so we were unable to get sun chairs at all

To whom it may concern,
Unfortunately, their was a mishap with my booking. Apparently it seems to me when carnival employee makes a mistake they will not admit to it. My booking #30KFG2 & 30KFL6 a deposit was put in on 6/29/12 of $1050. The balance was due on July 2 which i called and paid for. I receive an e-mail with confirmation and that was that. According to carnival employee their were no funds on my account since then no e-mail or follow up call was made. On July 20 I decided to print my boarding pass and of course had a problem so I call. Angela Lezama stated that my cruise was cancelled. I told her after checking with my account the money was still their was no letter from bank stating of any insufficient funds they must of gotten a wrong account.I ask them to repeat the account number and they refused. Since I was at my job at the time I had to call back and this time out of the blues they said that in the system a Myrian Ramirez spoke to me on the 7/11 and told me about the insufficient funds and that I have until the 18th to pay. I find that they would make that up because no one spoke to me and besides why should I gamble my deposit when I know is non refundable. To make things worst I had to pay an extra $400 I believe for someones mistakes. I was not asking for my deposit or asking for any compensation of any kind all I wanted was for to pay the original amount I owed and that was that. Please take care of this soon as possible for the money I put extra was my family spending money. Thank you
